Nuno Felt Making

A selection of open weave fabrics for creating Nuno felted fabrics. Nuno felt is created when wool fibres are placed on the surface of a fabric such as Gauze Chiffon, and then felted. During the felting process the wool shrinks and causes the fabric to pucker, making interesting patterning on the surface. Nuno felt is also known as laminated felt.
